Meet our bassist Lincoln!

Lincoln Bean was born into a family with a rich musical heritage, where his early years were filled with toy xylophones, tambourines, and drums—gifts from extended family that both delighted and exasperated his parents. As his natural rhythm became evident, the encouragement and musical presents only grew.

Lincoln's formal music education began with piano lessons in Kindergarten. By age seven, he transitioned to the guitar and never looked back. He added percussion to his repertoire in fifth grade and has since expanded his skills across various instruments and ensembles.

Currently, Lincoln plays the snare drum in the marching band at Newport Harbor High School. He also has played the stand-up bass in the orchestra, guitar in the jazz band, and various percussive instruments in the Symphonic Band. Over the years, he has earned several musical awards.

Lincoln’s musical journey took an exciting turn when his younger sister, who is friends with the drummer of Duct Tape, spotted a “Bassist Wanted” ad on their website and encouraged Lincoln to audition. As the newest member of the band, Lincoln is grateful for their warm welcome and is excited to perform with them at cool venues throughout Southern California.
